Unless otherwise directed by the CBB, the applicant must provide an acceptably worded letter of guarantee in support of the application for a license. Where the application for the license is for an entity incorporated in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the CBB may seek a letter of guarantee from the major shareholder in control of the proposed licensee. Where the application is for an overseas investment firm licensee, the CBB may seek a letter of guarantee from the parent company.
