The TMA Module is concerned with offers for, and take-overs and mergers of, all relevant companies, however effected. These include partial offers, offers by a parent company for shares in its subsidiary and certain other transactions where control of a company is to be obtained or consolidated. References to "takeovers" and "offers" include, where appropriate, all such transactions, including share repurchases by mandatory offer as described below.
