Module TMA is organised as a set of general principles and rules on takeovers, mergers, and share repurchases offers. The Module provides an orderly framework within which take-overs, mergers or acquisitions are to be conducted and sets forth special requirements relating to timing and mode of offer, announcements, documentaton and disclosure of adequate information to enable shareholders to make an informed decision as to the merits of an offer relating to a takeover, merger or acquisition.
