The supervision of the investment business sector in the Kingdom pays particular regard to the standards set by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). The BMA plays an important role in meeting stakeholders' expectations — the principal stakeholders of the BMA are the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, regulated financial institutions, their clients, IOSCO and other relevant international organizations.
