The introductory Chapters summarise the purpose of the Module, its history (in terms of changes made to its contents) and, where applicable, lists previously issued circulars and regulations that were replaced by the Rulebook Module. A separate introductory Chapter also prescribes the scope of application of the Module's requirements.
