'Capital base' is the Net Available Capital calculated in accordance with the most recently submitted Form PIR but excluding any deductions in respect of items 3.6 (excess amount over materiality thresholds in case of investment in commercial entities) and 3.8 (excess amount over maximum permitted large exposure limit — see Module CA-2 and PIR section B — capital adequacy calculation).
