This Module contains the Central Bank of Bahrain's ('CBB') Directive (as amended from time to time) regarding authorisation requirements applicable to insurance licensees, approved persons and registered bodies and is issued under the powers available to the CBB under Article 38 of the Central Bank of Bahrain and Financial Institutions Law 2006 ('CBB Law'). Requirements regarding regulated insurance services as per Article 39 (see Chapter AU-1), licensing conditions as per Article 44 (see Chapter AU-2) and licensing and registrations fees as per Article 180 (see Chapter AU-6) are also included in Regulations and included in this Module. Module AU also contains the minimum qualifications and fit and proper requirements for appointed representatives issued in 2009 under Resolution 11 in accordance with Article 74 of the CBB Law.
