In the case of overseas insurance licensees, prior approval is required for controlled function (b), defined as the 'Branch Manager' of the Bahrain branch (however titled by the licensee). It is also required for controlled functions (c), (f) where applicable and (g). Prior approval is also required for controlled functions (d) and (e), although these functions may be combined with other functions.
