For overseas conventional retail bank licensee, the reference to capital and reserves in Paragraph CA-15.7.2 includes the following items reported in Section A Balance Sheet of the PIR:

(a) Paid up share capital (net of treasury shares);
(b) General (disclosed reserves);
(c) Retained earnings (or losses) brought forward; and
(d) Net profit (or loss) for the current period.
