As part of its on-going supervision, under Articles 111, 113, 114, and 123 of the Central Bank of Bahrain and Financial Institutions Law (Decree No. 64 of 2006), the Central Bank may specifically request information or temporary reporting from a licensee or individual. Recipients of such requests are bound to respond to such requests under the terms of their license. Such requests are in effect a type of Direction.
