The Central Bank may issue Directions to licensees or individuals under supervisory powers granted to it by the Central Bank of Bahrain and Financial Institutions Law (Decree No. 64 of 2006) ("CBB Law"). These powers are broad in nature, and effectively allow the Central Bank to issue whatever Directions it reasonably believes are required to achieve its statutory objectives.
